About Privr

The company began in 2021 when two of us were asked to clean up access at a payments company after an audit finding. The work took four months and produced a spreadsheet with 2,300 rows. The spreadsheet was wrong within a week. Privr is the product we wished had existed then: compliance automation that keeps itself correct, with the evidence attached to every decision.

We believe compliance should be a by-product of running systems well, not a separate activity. Every feature in Privr is designed so that the evidence writes itself while people do their jobs.

What we believe

Evidence over assurance

We would rather show you the log than tell you about the control. Everything Privr decides is recorded in a form an auditor can read.

Ship weekly

Small releases, every week, with a changelog people can read. Big launches are where regressions hide.

Publish the incidents

Every security incident, however small, gets a public write-up within thirty days. Trust is built in the write-ups, not in the uptime badge.

Who we are

The team combines people who have run security for banks and payment providers with engineers who have built identity systems at scale.

Ingrid Keller

Security Lead

Runs the internal security program and the public bug bounty. Author of the quarterly transparency report.

Hannah Fontaine

Head of Sales Engineering

Runs the thirty-minute walkthroughs. Prefers your data model to our slides.

Lucas Lindqvist

Head of Product

Ran access programs at a university with 40,000 accounts. Writes the plain-language policy templates customers start from.

Felix Hassan

Head of Design

Designs for the operator with three other jobs. Every approval screen has passed her five-second test.

If you run security at one of the banks and payment providers we build for and want to compare notes, we would like to hear from you, customer or not.
